"The purpose of the investigation was to determine (1) the use of the ground water, with special attention to irrigation, (2) the location of additional ground-water supplies, (3) the water-bearing properties of the aquifers, including the geologic conditions that must be considered in planning water supplies, and (4) the chemical quality of the ground water."
