A portrait of Morningside student Charles D. Fry, class of 1918. The portrait is printed in a book titled “For God and Country” that depicts the people of Sioux City who perished during World War I. Fry joined the US army in 1918. He died at Camp Dodge, Iowa, in October, a victim of the 1918 Influenza epidemic.
