Charles City Hall is the oldest building on the beautiful campus of Morningside College, and its story is a very interesting one. During its 126 year history, this building has gone through four different name changes, a fire that wrecked the entire interior, reconstruction, a conversion to a different type of hall, more construction, and a historic register naming. This building has been through quite a bit, and its history is full, rich, and filled with intriguing events.
